Arsenal has kick-off to a perfect start in the 2020/21 new Premier League season with back-to-back London derby victories against Fulham and West Ham United.
The Gunners followed up their 3-0 win at Craven Cottage by nailing out a 2-1 hard-fought victory over the Hammers at the Emirates, thanks to a late Eddie Nketiah goal.
The North London club progress under Mikel Arteta, who has won the FA Cup title and Community Shield in his first eight months in charge, has got fans and even some of their rivals fans excited as to what’s to come this season.
The Gunner’s next Premier League would be away at the Anfield against title-holders Liverpool F.C and we would consider our Community Shield’s 5/2 for the Gunners in the ‘draw no bet’ market with rivernilecasino online casino as our top Liverpool vs Arsenal prediction betting tips.
Arteta has been able to convince the club in adding Gabriel and Willian to the team, plus Cedric Soares and Pablo Mari’s loan permanent deals. One of the biggest achievement any of the club fans would point out is the fact that he solicited tying down star man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to a new deal.
But with the transfer window not closing until October, we feel there could yet still be some new additions to the Spanish manager could add to the squad.
Here are three players who have been linked with a switch to Arsenal in recent days…
Houssem Aouar
Currently priced at 1/3 odds on www.casinolariviera.net to sign for Arsenal before 6th of October, Aouar is one of Arsenal’s top priority signing this summer. According to Italian sports journalist Nicolo Schira, who reported on Twitter, claimed personal terms for the signing of Aouar for a contract run until 2025 were agreed between the two clubs a fortnight ago. However, despite the Ligue 1 side willingness to let their midfielder leave for a new challenge, the Gunners are yet to agree on a fee with the French club. Aouar was born and raised in Lyon and has made 139 first-team appearances since making his debut as an 18-year-old.
David Raya
According to ESPN, the tabloid claimed on their website, that Arsenal are still keen on signing Brentford goalkeeper David Raya. The Gunners have already had a £10million bid rejected by the Bees for the former Blackburn Rovers stopper. However, the North London side are not giving up hope on bringing the 25-year-old to the Emirates after they sold Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa. As it stands, Mikel Arteta has just former third-choice Matt Macey as back-up to first-choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno. Raya was an ever-present last season for his side as Brentford reached the Championship play-off final before losing to Fulham.
Runar Alex Runarsson
Last on our list is Runar Alex Runarsson, who according to The Telegraph, Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Dijon goalkeeper. Following the sale of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa, the Gunners are aiming to bolster their options between the sticks. It’s claimed, according to widely circulated gooner news, that the 25-year-old will cost around £1.6million and has been in London to have his medical. A senior international for Iceland, Runarsson made 36 appearances in Ligue 1 since a transfer from FC Nordsjælland in June 2018.
