1. Get a healthy and balanced diet
Healthy food is the main thing for keeping your body healthy. So, your dining plate should contains fruits, vegetables, and meat. Deep yellow and green leafy vegetables are best for eye health. You may know vitamin A, B, C, and E, lutein, zeaxanthin, and zinc are eye-friendly nutrients. Many eye diseases —Macular degeneration and Cataract happen due to a deficiency of vitamin B12. You can also supplement your needs for methylfolate through supplements. In many cases your doctor may prescribe methylfolate 2.5mg to be used on a daily basis. You can get these nutrients from;

2. Exercise regularly
Exercise plays a central role in keeping your body healthy. Exercise proves helpful in maintaining high blood sugar(diabetes), high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. If you work in the chemical industry, minerals industry, or construction work, wear protective eyewear or goggles, which may prevent your eyes from injuries. 7. Relax your eyes
If you are working at a computer office or as a freelancer, you are at more risk of getting eye problems. You are continuously doing work and do not even blink your eyes, thus you feel tiredness and eye pain. To avoid these problems, follow the 20-20-20 rule. Relax your eyes every 20- minutes, look away 20 feet right in front of you for 20-seconds, and take a gap after 2 hours for 15 minutes.

Visit your eye specialist regularly
The symptoms of eye problems do not appear early, and most people don’t know they have eye problems. Therefore, everyone should get an eye examination regularly; if not possible, at least get an annual eye test. If you feel any eye problems, visit your ophthalmologist and follow his instructions.
