From the Yellow Brick Road to the Walk of Fame

Jerry Maren, one of the original Lollipop Guild munchkins, was honored with a hand-and-footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday, the same day the Wizard of Oz premiered for the first time in IMAX 3D. The film originally premiered in this theatre in 1939 as well.

During the ceremony, Jerry treated the crowd to the Lollipop Guild song, proving that at 93 he’s still got it! Jerry is the oldest and smallest honoree to be honored with a spot on the renowned Walk of Fame.

The huge smile on Jerry’s face sums up the joyous occasion! After years of earning a place in our hearts, he has finally earned a place on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Congratulations Jerry!
