The 2020 UEFA European Championships could be the best opportunity for football fans to be able to see some of the world’s best young stars to continue to show why they are touted as wonderkids and players for the future.
Indeed, the tournament will host a mixture of quality individuals, both young and old, thus meaning that the football competition could be about to provide a serious amount of entertainment when it comes down to the action on the pitch.

Jeremy Doku
Belgium are known for being able to produce a number of quality footballers and Jeremy Doku appears to be the latest individual to come off the talented production belt that the country has.
The 19-year-old is a left-sided winger who also has the ability to play as a forward, and has been in stellar form for Rennes this season after he was signed for their record transfer from Anderlecht last summer.
Doku, who may have not made the competition if it were held last year, has plenty of pace and the skill to cause opposing defenses a number of problems with the ball at his feet, and has already managed to score twice for the Red Devils in his six games so far.
There will be a number of opportunities for him to shine, so expect him to be given one and potentially take it.
Phil Foden
England are blessed with a number of incredibly young talents, but there might not be any better than Manchester City’s Phil Foden. The midfielder has certainly come into his own as a player over the last 12 months and has become an incredibly important component of Pep Guardiola’s side; something he predicted would happen years ago.

Pedri
Pedri might only be 18 years old, but the FC Barcelona attacking midfielder has already shown how important he can be to his club, so he should only be able to do the same for his career with Spain. He made an appearance in all but one of his club’s La Liga matches, thus showing how much potential he has when on the pitch.
With Spain arguably not quite the nation that they once were in regards to international football, there is no doubt that Pedri can be the future and one player La Rioja will be able to build around for the next decade and more.
Alexander Isak
Whilst Sweden will be missing the monster that is Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the tournament, their 2020 UEFA European Championship hopes may rest on the shoulders of Alexander Isak, and that might not necessarily be a bad thing.
Still only 21 years old, the young forward has shown how good he can be when on the pitch as he has been impressive with Real Sociedad, as he managed to score a goal every other game in La Liga (17 in 34 appearances) which is something that is quite remarkable given his age.
He does only have six goals for Sweden in his 22 appearances to date, but the bright lights that this UEFA competition will provide could be the perfect platform for him to show everyone why he is so highly rated by many within football.
